Word-ual update

I have been posting so many pictures from my phone, but I have been neglecting words!  So, here are some words!
I took Charlotte for her 4 month appt yesterday.  She is 15lbs 11oz.  She is short and fat.  75th percentile for weight, and only the 20th for height!  Awwww... she is a little butterball.  Precious little thing!!!  She is rolling all over the house nowadays!  She also loves to growl.  She grabs things off the table, out of Jaden's hands, she especially loves to pull hair!  She still loves her paci, and to be swaddled at night!
I left Jaden home with Jacob for that appt.  He is sick nowadays.  He is coughing and has a runny nose, poor little boy.  It seems like when he gets hit with a virus, it hits him hard.  Hopefully he will be better soon.
We are getting ready for Christmas.  We celebrated St. Nicholas day on the 6th.  We left Jaden and Charlotte's shoes by the front door for St. Nicholas to leave presents in.  Jaden was so excited!  He thought he should leave them there again a few nights ago, so he could get more presents!!  We were planning on visiting Santa this weekend, but with Jaden being sick, we hope to do that this week sometime.  We did take our annual trip to see the zoo lights last weekend.  We love that!  I think the highlight of the day was Sarah's spaghetti, and my dance routine that I performed for Jaden.  That was fun, but ... boy was I out of breath!!
We visited Nanny and Papa today and their new kitten... she is such a cutie pie!!  Both of the kids loved her.  Jaden, however, did not like it when she would sit under any of the pedal cars.  He promptly felt the need to drive whichever one she was under!  Poor little kitten...she has been through so much in her little life, all she needs now it to learn the rules of the road in Papa's basement!
I think that's about all for my update with the DP and the cinch!

Today jaden reminded me about the 4th of July parade and how the man threw candy to him.  He said "that's not a very good idea".

Children's museum day!

We went to the Frankfort children's museum this week.  Jaden loved it.  Of course, it wasn't as amazeballs as the dupage museum...but it will do!  Plus its about 2 minutes from our house!  Here is jaden playing in the large sensory table.  It was full of choking hazards.  That's his friend vivian in the table.  I guess she wanted the full sensory table experience!

That's a Jaden quote!  We went on a long travel to and fro my parents house on Saturday.  Jaden learned to say "get my outaaa herrrrrrrre!!".  But, here is Charlotte taking matters into her own hands.

We went to choo choo johnnys today with a group of kids from music.  Jaden loved it!

This really happened...

It might look like a fantastical dream...but, no!!  This really happened...I wish I had a photo of my partner in crime to show you.  But, alas, we were too busy almost peeing ourselves to properly document the event.  You will have to trust me when I say that two year old children are generally terrified to see their mothers like this!  So extremely terrified they will try to hide in a corner from said mother crying in fear.  Aside from that shocking reaction..this day was a success?!!  I think....

In other news...we started the mural in the basement today!!  It looks super amazeballs.  But, I'm convinced it will literally take me forever to finish with my two tiny distractions!

Charlotte is not impressed!  What is an " exersaucer" anyway?  Maybe it has something to do with the fact that her brother must constantly spin her in it...or loudly shake all the attached toys for her?!  Ahhhh... The life of a second child!

To complete the costume...

Coffee!!  Jaden loves it when Jacob gets coffee...so before music we stopped by dunkin to get some hot chocolate.  This was a critical part of the costume!  Other than not wanting to wear a costume...Jaden loves "holly-ween"!  I can't wait to see what he does for trick or treat today!  And...neverfear, I will post a pic of my little cupcake too.  Can u tell I got a blogging app for my phone...hence making it so easy for me to share photos right away!!??   The only catch is it will only let me post one pic per post.  Whahhh....whahhh!

We are in the midst of watching our neighbors (Warren...mostly) put plastic Christmas cartoon characters in his back yard... I CAN NOT wait to see how many he puts in his front yard!  I can only hope for a kazillion!

Many, many apologies!  Here are my little pumpkins








Charlotte finally had her photo shoot last week!  We got a preview of the pictures tonight.  We shall be in posession of the full disc tomorrow!  I can't believe how amazing they are!

Just a normal Thursday night!

I'm not going to lie, my inlaws have sweet digs!  Hence we tend to do sweet activities when we go there.  Last night was certainly no exception.

Papa took the kids(and adults) 'round about the pond

Jaden loved it...but only if he was with Daddy, of course!  When I rode with him, he refused to enjoy himself....REFUSED!!!!!

Then these two decided it would be a great idea to try to catch mini fish with a cup for approximately 5 hours whilst that forced me to watch all 28 kids by myself....Literally!!  The reason I was by myself with 38 kids, you ask?....OH- because Nanny and Papa snuck out of the house to 'pick up food'.

Jaden liked fiddling with Sarah's camera to take trillions of picties!  You are welcome, Sarah!

Charlotte did this....until I was alone with all 50 kids...then she decided to throw fits!

....And finally....I reminded Sarah that her new 'little' bun is likely to be about 10lbs at birth.  So, I allowed her to envision this event by placing my little Charlotte inbetwixt her legs!!  And again, I say, you're welcome!

Almost exactly one month ago...

I was pregnant... she was not

What a difference a month makes

Because....

My bun is done...hers is just beginning!

And I can't wait!!!

You get used to somebody!

You kinda get used to somebody.  Kind of like having them around!  You get used to the way they make you happy!  Bring you up when you're feeling down...



Those are my two little loves!  Jaden is getting used to having Charlotte around.  He loves her so, soooo much!  There aren't enough hours in the day for him to kiss and cuddle her!
It is still amazing to me how these two tiny people have stolen my whole heart.  I can't believe how lucky I am.  All my infertility fears of never being a mom...and now I have two perfect, spunky little ones.  I don't think it gets any better than that!

Jaden helped me make dessert today for some company we are having tomorrow!  We made chocolate suckers for the kids.

Oh, I almost forgot....

I am currently almost 38 weeks preggo.  Yup...I keep forgetting about that!  Although, I did start to get the baby clothes washed and folded the other day!  Here are some much requested belly photos!
