For the love of...

A cat!  This week was a sad week for Perkins.  When we woke up on Wednesday,  he was meowing really deeply and slobbering.   By the time I came home from preschool with Jaden, he was worse...drooling nonstop and walking only in circles.  He wouldn't eat or drink either.  We took him to the vet...they prescribed some meds for him for heart failure and high blood pressure and told us he was blind.  When we got home he wouldn't move..he just laid in one spot.  Thursday he continued the downward spiral.   Jacob and I decided to go to the vet on Friday to get a final decision on his conditions.  We weren't very optimistic.   We prepared for the worst..explained cat heaven to Jaden.  The vet wanted us to just give him 3 more days.  So we took him in for iv fluids and a force feed and medicine.  Here's the crazy part:  he's not drooling anymore, he's starting to eat and drink, and he's walking around a bit!  The pictures below are:  Charlotte with Perkins on Thursday when he was doing so terrible. ..and Perkins on Saturday when he started feeling better.

Ahhhhh..

Jaden was complaining of a sore neck for 2 days so I took him for his first chiropractic appointment.  He did so great.  He loved it..he did everything Dr Kelly told him to.  When she was done, he just laid there.  He told me he didn't want to leave!  I'd call it a success!  He seems to be feeling better today..poor little guy!
