Outdoor fun!

 We hadn't seen Nanny and Papa for a while... so this morning...(after Jaden was done forcing me to talk like Nanny)(which for me meant asking him if he wanted yogurt and cookies)(he did... I then had to explain that I was kidding about the cookies)(he would be able to eat many many many cookies at nanny's!)... we decided to pop in on those two love-birds! 

And it was so beautiful outside, we decided to enjoy the woods.

We decided to go bowling Friday night as a reward for Jaden.   He was being such a good sleeper... for about 3 days in a row!!!  Reward time!  He was so excited.

Wow... this is going by way too fast.  It seems like just this morning I was walking down the hallway to the OR, letting the doctors and nurses know that I might become combative at any second.  Nervous and anxious to meet my baby girl(I already knew she was a girl)(thank you very much)!!  Exactly 11 months later, I'm sitting here wondering where the time went.  Where my little baby went... because today, that little baby started the process of this....

I'm just so thankful for these two... we are blessed beyond measure.  I also love how she thinks Jaden is the funniest person in the whole world.  Brother/sister laughs warm my heart.

This really happened

 Today our neighbor knocked on our door to announce that he was having a dog birthday party(in 20 minutes).  Before Jacob even knew what hit him... the neighbor said "See ya there!"  I came downstairs to see what all the commotion was about.  Jacob brought me up to speed... and we took the kids in the basement to play.  Dooo dee dooo.... 20 minutes later, my wonderful husband says to me... "Are we going to this thing or what?"..... I just about choked on my very own spit.  Shocked, very shocked indeed, that he was actually considering this dog birthday party proposition.  I tried to convince him to stay home... but he would not give into me... so we headed to the dog party...

 

 

Here is that dear man... contemplating if this is indeed a great idea.

LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Our neighbor on the left... welcoming us to his yard where all the party guests await the festivities!  In case you are wondering... yes, that is Warren, Katie and their dog Andi. 

Being shy... but Grandma Katie is always so convincing... so... 

 

We head to the patio for some icecream.  Here is Charlotte eye-ing the icecream with the birthday boy(the white dog)... and Andi cheering her on... GO CHARLOTTE, GO!!! 

OH, YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH... Here are some of our favorite neighbors.

Be still my freakin heart!!!  A dog birthday party in 20 minutes was a winner!!!!!!!!!!!  I don't think I'll ever be able to thank my husband enough for forcing me out of the house for this one. 

 

5am wakeup call=Museum day!

 

Indeed... everyone woke up wayyyy too early for my taste on Monday.  So, I thought 'What can I do to keep my sanity today???'  Children's museum!!!(my brain told me)(it was soooo right!)

Rocks are amazingly fun...poppins phone is great for chatting with your peeps...this week I'm trying to convince jaden to have a  happy face instead of mad face all the time. ..and man alive...all these kids do at nanny's is eat!!!!!!!!
