What's more comfy than this!?

On another note...we had to go to the dreaded mall today.  On the way I asked jaden if he likes the mall.  He didn't say 'yes'...he didn't say 'no' ...he said...."so much".  Oh this boy kills me ...cinchly kills me!

If you don't go to the dentist....

Jaden had a dentist appointment today.  He surprisingly must have remembered that it is not a pleasant experience.  All morning he was trying to get out of it>(he sooooo reminds me of myself)!  So I told him that if you don't go to the dentist, all of your teeth will fall out and then you won't be able to eat.... you will only be able to drink.
He thought about it... and in the car on our way he says
"My teeth are really stuck in here, let's not go to the dentist" (as he was feeling all of the teeth in his mouth with his finger.)
I laughed and we proceeded to the dental office, where he got an A+ on his oral hygeine... but I got an F in containing my uninvited laughter.

I'm really into bribery nowadays!  But it appears to work...hence the smiling two-year old pictured here.

How lucky!

How did I get so lucky!?  These two are just adorable in photos!!  In person sometimes they are challenging....but here they are just picture perfect!

Instructions...

Today we were playing in the basement when luckily Jaden found a whistle!  Yay!  He started blowing the whistle and yelling instructions at me.  "You guys go over there....you guys go over there"  followed by a whistle and more instructions.
It was then that I realized he was a referee from Isabelle's BBall game!  His head was definitely in that game!

Custard

Yup, that's right... Custard.  Jaden wanted to watch the dreaded Thomas this afternoon, and I decided to give in.  I have been limiting his tv watching and I love how his behaviour is without it!  Less fits, less madness.  (less... just less)  Anyway... when we turned on the t.v. it transported us to a magical place(on the travel chanel) where they were making custard... and EATING it too!  Oh, did we ever just stare at that t.v. screen as if we had never seen a t.v. or custard before.  We chatted about how much we love ice cream... and that put a new thought in my head.
"I love ice cream on a hot day" I said to Jaden
"yeah"  he said to me
" I love hot days... I think today is a hot day... maybe we should get into our bathing suits and run around the yard"  I said to Jaden (looking out the window at the snow covered ground)
He looked at me with a smile and said
"Ok, let's do it"
