You get used to somebody!

You kinda get used to somebody.  Kind of like having them around!  You get used to the way they make you happy!  Bring you up when you're feeling down...

Those are my two little loves!  Jaden is getting used to having Charlotte around.  He loves her so, soooo much!  There aren't enough hours in the day for him to kiss and cuddle her!
It is still amazing to me how these two tiny people have stolen my whole heart.  I can't believe how lucky I am.  All my infertility fears of never being a mom...and now I have two perfect, spunky little ones.  I don't think it gets any better than that!

Beyond Measure

The fog has finally cleared to see
The beautiful life you've given me

To feel the breeze of my newborn's gentle breath

With one to walk hand in hand,
To share this life that you have planned

It's like a storybook with dreams
That are meant to see every next step is an extraordinary scene

I know that I've been given more than beyond measure

Sweetest Sweetie

Jaden helped me make dessert today for some company we are having tomorrow!  We made chocolate suckers for the kids.

Put the sprinkles on!

Looks easy enough....

Until you realize that maybe you should just take a handful of those sprinkles and stuff them in your mouth!

Taste-Testing!  It's a hard job...but someone has to do it!

mmmmmmmmmmm

Oh, I almost forgot....

I am currently almost 38 weeks preggo.  Yup...I keep forgetting about that!  Although, I did start to get the baby clothes washed and folded the other day!  Here are some much requested belly photos!
37 weeks, cribside

Jaden's belly, Mommy's belly!

These pictures are my favorites we have.

Can't wait to see who's been in there for the past 9 months!

neighbors....ugh....

Warren....Katie.  Ya'll know who I'm talking about.  Well, they moved in yesterday.  I suddenly find myself trying to hide myself when I go outside just so I don't have to have a two hour conversation with them.  I realize that I do not prefer to have neighbors.  But, I do, however, like trying to figure out what is going on over there.  I guess I'm really into spying- not into talking to people for real.  So, here's the scoop:
They like wolves.  How do I know this??  Because their license plate says 'Wolves".  So, I'm assuming they like wolves, or the Chicago Wolves.  I am hoping it's just wolves, because I am really looking forward to seeing them wear t-shirts that are decorated with wolves howling at the moon.  Or even just a wolf on a hill, with several other wolves behind him on different hills.  These such shirts make me so happy that I could pee myself.  Although- It is not hard for me to pee myself these days...but that's a different story!
Warren and Katie also love Bears.  I also know this because of their other license plate.  I am not becoming delusional on this one though, and imagining seeing Bears in the wilderness t-shirts in my neighborly future...because the license plate is very clear.  It states that they are Chicago Bears fans.  But, I would not be surprised if they also like bears in the wilderness.
I already know they like the zoo (from their t-shirts)  They also love t-shirts(I know this from their t-shirts)
I know they love red.  I know this because they have 2 red cars in the driveway.
I know that they love to chat.  As Warren said to me just last night..." I would chat longer, but we are just beat".  You see, they just moved in yesterday... I assume that is why they were 'beat'.  Aiyyyy... it's ok, Warren, I don't like talking that much anyway.  So, don't bother conversing with me!
There's your blogual update for the day!

SURPRISE!!!!!

I love a good surprise as much as anyone.  Ok... so maybe that statement was a lie.  I enjoy surprises such as: unplanned pregnancies(for pretty much anyone)(especially me...my sister-in-law...my parents...or even my inlaws)  (boy ...oh...boy...that would be magical) ummm...anyway...back to surprises I like:  genders of babies on their actual birthday; a surprise present of a yummy ice cream sundae from your husband he picked up for you on his way home from work- just because he could sense you would want it(that's never happened)...and obviously, I could go on and on and onnnnn....
I do not, however, love surprise parties for myself.  That is why I always require people to tell me of any such surprises ahead of time.  A great example happened just today.  Jacob's work threw us a surprise shower.  Thankfully, Jacob's dad told us about it ahead of time.  The funnest part of this surprise party was letting people think we were surprised.  I think the even funner part for Jacob was giving people a hard time before the shower...such as saying he may not come in to work today, or asking why everyone was going to be at work today when it was so slow.  The not so fun part was poor baby Jaden's reaction when everyone yelled "SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Oh, NOOO.... that boy was not happy.... not happy at all.  In fact, he broke down and squeezed his eyes closed soooooo tight.  We, indeed, had to remove him from the party environment to let him calm down.   That little one does not like crowds or apparently surprises.  I think he may get that from me and his father!
